What Can I Do Here?
This page helps you explore Storm Event water quality data. For a specified station, you can select one parameter and plot concentration, as well as the flow or precipitation data associated with a particular storm. So you don't end up with an empty chart, only samples with detections are included on this page and this is the default selection. Including “only samples that have exceeded a benchmark,?allows you to quickly determine which stations and parameters have exceeded the lowest applicable benchmark. The best available flow and precipitation records are automatically assigned to each selection.
How Do I Proceed?
If you are interested in a particular station, select Station and then select one parameter from the list of detected parameters for the station. Then pick a storm event. If you are interested in a particular parameter, select Parameter and you will see a list of stations with detections. Select a single station and storm event. To determine which stations and storm sampling events produced water quality results that exceeded a benchmark, choose to include “only samples that exceeded a benchmark.?
You can plot either flow or precipitation and you have the option to select hydrologic from other sources than those automatically assigned by using the drop down windows. If desired, you can plot a benchmark if one is available for the parameter you have selected. Hit the Run button to produce your chart.
Mouse-over chart bar tops and bases to view hints pop-up boxes of bar-specific information.
You can zoom-in using the mouse left click on top left of an area and drag the cursor to bottom right of the area and release the left click of the mouse.
